Carlin Coulter

Carlin has been a stylist in Seattle since 2008.  For the last 10 years she has been the owner of Salon Moxi on Capitol Hill.  Now Squirrel Chops has the honor of her mad skills part-time to enable her to pursue other creative outlets Carlin specializes in precision haircuts and advanced color techniques.

Ali satterlee

Ali is a fifth generation barber who has been working at different shops around Seattle for the past decade. They are a traditional barber specializing in short hair (especially skin fades) but also love to do mullets and creative/textured styles. The reason they wanted to carry on their family’s tradition was to help others just like them. As a queer non-binary person, Ali knows firsthand how euphoric and liberating a haircut can feel, and also how frustrating and alienating an unaffirming haircut experience can be. Their ultimate goal is to provide a safe space to work closely with clients to find gender-affirming haircuts that work for them!

Sharon Blyth-moss

Sharon, the co-owner of Squirrel Chops, is originally from Birmingham, England, but has lived in Seattle for over 25 years and has been a stylist for nearly that long. She specializes in short choppy fine hair, but she does amazing work with any hair type or style, and is also a talented colorist. Outside of the salon, Sharon is an artist and graphic designer. Her skills as an artist, as well as her keen and curious eye, are evident in every aspect of her life, both in the salon and out.
